چکیده
Fungal diseases of fish have become increasingly important, over the past 20 years. The traditional ‘‘fungi’’ are comprised members from several different taxonomic kingdoms. An increasing number other environmental fungi being reported diseased fish, further testament to opportunistic nature many fungi. Increased knowledge basic biology will help guide treatment methods. This review study sought provide insights into wild farmed introduced onto market.

Immunoregulation in Fungal Diseases
This review addresses specific regulatory mechanisms involved in the host immune response to fungal organisms. We focus on key cells and regulatory pathways involved in these responses, including a brief overview of their broader function preceding a discussion of their specific relevance to fungal disease. Important cell types discussed include dendritic cells and regulatory T cells, with a fo...

Present address: 1 Department of Molecular Genetics, National Institute of Agrobiological Resources, Tsukuba, Japan Abstract Recent studies suggest that nitric oxide (NO), an important signaling and defense molecule in mammals, plays a key role in activating disease resistance in plants. We characterized NO production by tobacco Bright Yellow-2 cells pharmacologically after treatment with INF1,...
متن کاملFungal diseases of horses.
Among diseases of horses caused by fungi (=mycoses), dermatophytosis, cryptococcosis and aspergillosis are of particular concern, due their worldwide diffusion and, for some of them, zoonotic potential. Conversely, other mycoses such as subcutaneous (i.e., pythiosis and mycetoma) or deep mycoses (i.e., blastomycosis and coccidioidomycosis) are rare, and/or limited to restricted geographical are...
